Melacotogna – Vini e Affini is a wine shop with an authentic character, located in the heart of the historic center of Salve (LE)
Housed in a charming sixteenth-century palazzo, it was founded and led by Giovanna Pepe, an AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) sommelier. It was born from a desire to promote wine culture as a knowledgeable, accessible, and locally rooted experience.

Our selection is based on exclusive Salento wines, with a special focus on small, niche producers who work with passion, respect for the land, and often artisanal methods. Here you can find excellent and lesser-known wines that capture the authentic soul of the region.
Completing the offering is a curated selection of Italian wines, chosen to best represent the variety and quality of our country's winemaking.

The owner, Giovanna Pepe, is a wine professional with a strong educational spirit.
An AIS sommelier and passionate about food and wine culture, she has transformed Melacotogna into a reference point for those seeking not only fine wines, but also stories, values, and relationships.
