Hand-picked in our fields at the right stage of ripeness, the organic artichoke hearts are carefully cleaned and preserved in our extra virgin olive oil, obtained from Bella di Cerignola olives. Prepared according to the Puglian peasant tradition, with a few genuine ingredients – vinegar, salt, lemon, and extra virgin olive oil – they retain their full flavor and characteristic crunchiness.
Perfect as an appetizer, to accompany cured meats and cheeses, or to enrich meat main courses and delicious salads.
How we make them
Cultivated according to organic farming principles, our artichokes grow following natural seasonality. After harvesting, they are immediately brought to the farm, cleaned, selected, and processed within a few hours to preserve their freshness, aroma, and nutritional properties. Artisanal preparation and preservation in extra virgin olive oil guarantee a healthy product with an authentic taste.
Our philosophy
Since 1993, Antica Enotria has cultivated its land in Puglia with love and respect, preserving typical recipes handed down from generation to generation. In the historic Masseria Contessa Staffa from the 1700s, we produce organic wines, preserves, and sauces that tell the authentic flavor of our land, using exclusively raw materials from our fields.
