Manufacturing Company: Torre Ospina
Located in Racale, south of the southern Gulf of Gallipoli and on the road to Capo di Leuca, Torre Ospina is a winery born from the idea of the very young Quintino Manco who since 2010, with determination and passion, has managed the vineyards inherited from his grandfather, all production and cellar operations.
The estate's vineyards, Otanari, Vignali, Coloni, Vora, and Vigne, are nestled amidst olive groves, prickly pears, agaves, eucalyptus trees, citrus trees, and small Mediterranean woodlands. These truly unique crus are considered exceptional in the local winemaking tradition, known as "conche d'ore" (golden basins) for their fertility.
The vineyards are planted with native grape varieties—Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia Nera, and Verdeca—and are tended by hand. During harvest, the grapes are picked by selecting the finest bunches, while the winemaking process is carried out using the most advanced technologies.
