Tasting Notes
Impenetrable ruby red color. The nose opens with a broad and complex bouquet: ripe blackberry, sour cherry, quince jam, officinal herbs, and licorice root. On the palate, it is intense, structured, and material, yet supported by a pleasant freshness; silky and perfectly integrated tannins.
Food Pairings
Ideal with herb-crusted lamb chops, hunter's style hare, beef braised in Primitivo, and roasted pheasant.
